The Bike Zone Shed XC Fiver Race - Sunday April 26
Our opening Fiver race of the XC season, The Bike Zone SHED Fiver XC Race at Delta Water Shed Park, is on Sunday, April 26th, 2026.
3 categories for men and women; Beginner 1 lap about 20+ minutes, Intermediate 2 laps about 40+ minutes and Expert 3 laps about 60+ minutes. Must be a SORCE member for 2026 and you can click toJOIN SORCE You'll receive a free Sock Guy SORCE socks with your membership! Only $5 to race if you pre-register at WebscorerHERE. $10 on race day so PLEASE pre-register to speed things up on race day.
Race day check-in opens at 9am and the race starts at 10am with a mass start. Map to the race at the Meadows in Delta Water Shed Park. HERE

SORCE New web site!
After a several month gestation period (we are just volunteers), may we present the SORCE Bike Club’s all new web site!
Our old site set up using Joomla programming language has been completely redone under Square Space. Jake Johnstone of Pacific West Web-Design was instrumental in setting up the new site, transferring all our legacy posts over, and giving us a helping hand on how to post! THANK YOU Jake!
AGM - Change of venue location
Unfortunately, we have a late change of venue location for the AGM. We will be in the amenities room at a town home complex in South Surrey. Same time, 7-9 pm.
The address is 15588 32 Ave. Turn south onto 156A from 32nd. Follow the driveway around. Find parking in the visitor spaces and then walk to the amenities room.
Annual General Meeting 2025 - Weds, November 26
Join us on Wednesday, November 26, 7-9pm at Central City Brewers and Distillers, for the SORCE 2025 AGM.
We will review the financial report, the years achievements from many of the directors, our plans for 2026, presentation of the Golden Shovel Award, and elections for executive positions for a 2 year term.
Red Racer JunkYard Cross CX Race 2025 - RESULTS
We think the Greek Gods of weather Theoi Meteoroi and Poseidon must still be arguing with their boss Zeus about the weather program for the JunkYard Cross CX Race. They just keep messing it up and dumping rain on us. But Helios intervened and gave us sunshine for the afternoon! The Red Racer Beer Garden was full of lively spectators, on course racers stopped by for a refreshment, and CX racing was at full form! All was forgiven.

Red Racer JunkYard Cross CX Race Sunday October 19, 2025
The Red Racer JunkYard Cross CX Race for 2025 is upon us!
CX racing at it’s very best @ South Surrey Athletic Park October 19th and proud to be part of the Vancouver Lower Mainland Cyclocross Series!
We have included almost every type of terrain in the revised 3.4km per lap course. An uphill road start will take you onto the gravel by the water tower, through the JunkYard Cross Village and past the Red Racer Beer Garden and onto the grass.

All of work completed by SORCE is 100% volunteer. Our funding is reliant upon sponsorships from local businesses, grants, and memberships. Major projects are partially funded by the City of Surrey but we need your help too. Please think about contributing and receiving some great Trail Karma.
