Red Racer JunkYard Cross CX Race Sunday, October 4, 2026
The Red Racer JunkYard Cross CX Race for 2026 is upon us!
CX racing at it’s very best @ South Surrey Athletic Park October 4th and proud to be part of the Vancouver Lower Mainland Cyclocross Series!
We have included almost every type of terrain in the revised 3 km per lap course. An uphill road start will take you onto the gravel by the water tower, through the JunkYard Cross Village and past the Red Racer Beer Garden and onto the grass.

We again had perfect weather to run the classic JunkYard Dog XC course as a Fiver Race.

Our 2nd Fiver race of the XC season, the Bike Zone JunkYard Dog Fiver XC Race at South Surrey Bike Park, is on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.
3 categories for men and women; Beginner 1 lap about 20+ minutes, Intermediate 2 laps about 40+ minutes and Expert 3 laps about 60+ minutes. Must be a SORCE member for 2025 and you can click to JOIN SORCE You'll receive a free pair of Sock Guy SORCE socks with your membership!
Only $5 to race if you pre-register at Webscorer HERE. $10 on race day so PLEASE pre-register to speed things up on race day.
Race day check-in opens at 9am and the race starts at 10am with a mass start. Meet by the water tower.
Food & beverages available, great swag prizes with mechanical support from the Bike Zone, and you get to race the famous JunkYard Dog course!

The Bike Zone Shed Fiver XC Race - Results
What a beautiful day for our season opener XC Race at the Delta Watershed Park. 21 racers took to the 4km course setup by the Shed team of Carl and Brett.

SORCE New web site!
After a several month gestation period (we are just volunteers), may we present the SORCE Bike Club’s all new web site!
Our old site set up using Joomla programming language has been completely redone under Square Space. Jake Johnstone of Pacific West Web-Design was instrumental in setting up the new site, transferring all our legacy posts over, and giving us a helping hand on how to post! THANK YOU Jake!
